Iboro Finance (iborowilliam.com/blog) is a free financial-news site. You can read every article without an account, and we do not sell personal information.

What we collect

• Notifications: if you turn on browser notifications, your browser gives us a notification address and keys so we can send you the Daily Briefing. We store nothing else about you. Turn notifications off in your browser at any time and the address is deleted the next time we try to use it.
• Emails: if you email us, we keep your message and address only to reply.
• Technical data: our host and our security/CDN provider (Cloudflare) process standard request data such as IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site.
• Advertising and analytics: where ads or analytics appear, those providers (for example Google) may use cookies under their own privacy policies. You can manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.

Videos

Our sidebar shows a preview of our latest YouTube video. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play; the player then runs in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) under Google’s privacy policy.

Social media

We automatically share our new articles to our own Facebook Page and LinkedIn account. Our connected apps only publish posts on our behalf; they do not collect, read or store information about people who see, like or comment on those posts.

Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you can ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or object to its use, by emailing [email protected]. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority (in Finland: the Data Protection Ombudsman, tietosuoja.fi).

Data deletion

To delete any data we hold about you — including data linked to our Facebook or LinkedIn apps — email [email protected] with the subject “Data deletion request”. We confirm and complete deletion within 30 days. Because our apps store no information about visitors or followers, there is usually nothing to remove beyond your email itself.
